Lake Wales, FL — Last night, the Lake Wales Arts Center was filled with gratitude and celebration as the Lake Wales Mardi Gras Committee hosted its annual Give Back Ceremony, honoring and supporting 13 local non-profit organizations.
Each year, Lake Wales Mardi Gras brings vibrant energy, music, and community spirit to the heart of the city. But beyond the festivities, its purpose remains deeply rooted in giving back. At the event, representatives from each of the 13 selected non-profits received donations that will support their vital work across the Lake Wales community.
“This is what Mardi Gras is really about for us—celebrating community and making a lasting difference,” said a member of the Lake Wales Mardi Gras Committee. “It’s an honor to support the incredible organizations that serve and uplift our neighbors all year long.”
In addition to charitable giving, the evening also celebrated standout participants from this year’s Mardi Gras parade. The prestigious Vincent Cup was presented to two krewes for their creativity and spirit:
- Krewe of Caloosa Bayou received Best Overall Theme

- Lake Wales Ashtonettes were honored with Best Mardi Gras Theme
Held at the beautiful Lake Wales Arts Center, the ceremony was a testament to the power of community and the impact that celebration can have when channeled toward service and generosity.
