According to the Florida Department of Revenue website, Freedom Month, a sales tax holiday on specific admissions and outdoor activity supplies, will run through July 31.
Through the end of this month, taxes are not due on the retail sale of admissions to music, events, sporting events, cultural events, specified performances, movies, museums, state parks, and fitness facilities.
Also exempt from sales tax during this holiday are electric scooters, eligible boating and water activity, supplies, camping supplies, fishing supplies, general outdoor supplies, and residential pool supplies.
The sales tax holiday does not apply to rentals of any eligible items, sales with a theme park, entertainment, complex, public lodging, establishment, or airport.
