Lake Wales locals are getting closer to Bacon Mac & Cheese and Bread Bowls of soup.
Construction is progressing on the Panera Bread restaurant; the site is located at 23720 US Hwy. 27, Lake Wales.
This location is anticipating an opening date on or around January 15, 2025, according to Panera Senior Manager, Adam Ulrich.

“We will have a General Manager in the immediate area that will be doing interviews and hiring for a variety of positions,” says Ulrich. “We have not begun that process yet since we want to be conscious of the training time and the cafés actual opening date. I expect for this to begin within the next two weeks.”
