On November 25, 2024, at 6:28 PM, Polk County Fire Rescue was dispatched to 17 Lake Patrick Rd. N. in Babson Park.
PCFR Public Information Officer, Nathaniel Gale, reports, “It was an apartment style building. The fire was in an attached shed. The shed was heavily involved upon arrival.”
Crews arrived on scene at 6:30 PM. Water was first put on the fire at 6:34 PM. It was considered under control at 6:46 PM.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
