CITY OF LAKE WALES – The City of Lake Wales Public Works Department will host a public works expo on Thursday, May 22, 2025 between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lake Wales Park on Lakeshore Boulevard.
The expo will feature exhibit booths from City departments, including water services, streets and parks and recreation. Demonstrations will be given of various types of large equipment, such as bushhog, camera truck, scissor lift, vact-tron, mini excavator and more.
“Our expo is geared to give residents insight into some of the services and programs facilitated by City staff,” said Sarah Kirkland, public works director.
Give-away-items will be available on a first come first served basis.
“We encourage families to bring the kids to participate in activities,” Kirkland added.
