The Lake Wales Police Department, Lake Wales Fire Department and Polk County Fire Rescue are currently on scene of a motor vehicle crash on Hwy 27 at Thompson Nursery Rd. The call came in at 11:52 am. The accident appears to involve two vehicles.
One person appear to be preparing to be transported by ambulance from the scene. Southbound traffic is still flowing, but slowly. The Northbound traffic is moving fairly unencumbered.
