Beginning today, September 8, 2025, through December 31 of this year, consumers can purchase qualifying hunting, fishing, and camping supplies exempt from tax during the 2025 Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday.

Passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis, the sales tax holiday offers consumers a savings on a list of items, including firearms, ammunition, fishing rods, certain camping supplies and more.

This is the first time that firearms and ammunition will have a reprieve on sales tax, with no spending cap.
