The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Frostproof Monday afternoon. According to information, gathered by Lake Wales Daily, the accident occurred at 4:37pm. The crash involved an Elite Medical Transport and a small white car. The accident occurred at the intersection of CR630/Fort Meade Rd. and Par Dr. 
According to initial information one person was transported for treatment.
The roadway was partially blocked for about an hour.
