Dyer Chevrolet Lake Wales Celebrates Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting

Date:

by James Coulter

“See the USA in your Chevrolet,” the classic automobile jingle goes. And you can get your own Chevy vehicle today so you can see the USA at the new Dyer Chevrolet dealership in Lake Wales.

Located along U.S. Hwy 27, across the road from Eagle Ridge Mall, and next door to Dyer Kia, Dyer Chevrolet offers all of your Chevy needs with a diverse selection of Chevy vehicles.

“As a premier Chevy dealer near Poinciana, we pride ourselves on offering a fully-stocked inventory that has something for everybody,” their website states. “Whether this is your first car or your tenth car, we will help you find the one that is best for you…When you visit us, we will listen to your driving habits, budget, and preferences and make sure we point you in the direction of a new Chevy for sale that is perfect for your lifestyle.”

Will Dyer, co-owner with his wife, Tatiana, are excited to start selling vehicles at their new facility, which is right next door to their other facility, Dyer Kia. Will always had a desire to sell cars, and he considered Lake Wales the ideal community to sell them.

“We had a vision from the beginning of what we wanted to do,” he said. “It was a long process, especially with the sum of both [dealerships], [but] we finally finished the campus…We are so happy that our general contractor put this together. They did a fantastic job, and the city of Lake Wales has been wonderful to work with. We have built dealerships in two other counties, and the city of Lake Wales was the most agreeable to work with.”

Tatiana was grateful for everyone who supported them through their newest endeavor, and she hopes that their new facility will match the expectations behind it, she said.

“Our heart is in this, and this is a big deal for us…and for the Chevrolet experience,” she said. “This has been a long journey. We have leadership from other dealerships. You have been a huge part of this journey, so thank you and your leadership.”

Dyer Chevrolet Lake Wales celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Lake Wales Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber President and CEO Skip Alford boasted about how the new dealership, especially paired with the other dealership next door, showcases real economic growth in the Lake Wales community. He also used the turnout for the event as evidence of the community’s support for new businesses.

“We have great businesses and great dealerships and great folks and great businessmen and women,” he said. “I am part of the greatest chamber of commerce in the state of Florida. It is a great privilege to be at an event of this capacity.”

Former Mayor Gene Fultz likewise commended the new business and offered an invocation asking for blessings upon it.

“We thank you [Lord] for such a time like this, that you have given us an opportunity to come together and continue to reach out to each other in love or compassion and knowing that you are the one in control of everything,” he said. “[The business] has established itself here, that you will help it to grow and continue to grow, as the city grows, that the people in this city grow, and that people come together closer now than we have ever been for.”
