Beginning July 1, 2022 Lake Wales officers will be enforcing a reenacted Florida State Statute 316.3045 that prohibits loud music from motor vehicles. This law prohibits the sound from a vehicle to be plainly audible from 25 feet or more from the vehicle. This is a non-moving infraction and has a fine of $114.
Turn it down. It’s far too loud!
