An overnight burglary at a local gas station leaves a store clerk shaken as suspects are still at large.
In the wee hours of the morning on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, the QP Gas Station, located at 704 N. Scenic Hwy. in Lake Wales, was the location of the burglary.
Lt. Dale Hampton, public information officer for Lake Wales Police Department, confirms that two suspects, entered the store and robbed an overnight store clerk. The details of the crime have not yet been released.
The two suspects are currently at large. Hampton says there is no immediate threat to the public. The clerk was not injured.
