Lake Wales Public Library “Food for Fines” Nov. 1 – Dec. 31

Date:

You can “Pay” your library fines and fees with a donation of non-perishable food and help local families this holiday season.

The Lake Wales Public Library is once again partnering with Lake Wales Care Center to help restock their food pantry. You can donate non-perishable food items at the Adult and Youth-Services desks. The pantry is especially in need of canned meats, peanut butter and jelly, evaporated milk, and canned fruit. 5 items will clear up to $15 of fines and fees. This includes late fines from ALL PCLC libraries, and fees from damaged or lost Lake Wales or Bookmobile items.

Call 863-678-4004 for info.
