Lake Wales will soon have yet another option for eating out when no one wants to cook.
Wing University, owned by parent company RP Food Group of Florida, is making its presence known by opening three locations in Central Florida within the next few months, according to a company representative we spoke to by phone.
The Lake Wales location will be at 612 SR 60 W in Lake Wales, a spot we’re both Popeye’s Chicken and Burger King locations has been established in the past.
Wing University is in the process of opening relocations at this time: in addition to Lake Wales, locations are currently planned for Lakeland at the Lakeland Square Mall, and Dade City.
The representative stated that they hope to open the Lake Wales location during the month of July.
The company is currently accepting applications for employment at any of their three locations on their website.
Their online menu describes their wings as “Where Flavor Meets Fun: Discover the vibrant history and mission of Wing University, where we celebrate the art of wings with a playful twist. Our unique dining experience is inspired by a love for bold flavors and a lively atmosphere.”
Over 25 distinct flavors of wings are listed on their menu, ranging from mild and flavorful to raging hot.
