LAKE WALES POLICE DEPARTMENT- On Monday, June 2, 2025, the Lake Wales Police Department is hosting the Helicopter Badge Drop, a fundraising competition where the winner will take home $1000! Citizens can participate by purchasing a ticket with a number that corresponds to a badge. All the badges will be dropped from above onto a designated target, the badge that lands closest to the center wins. Tickets are available for purchase until Sunday, June 1. Ticket prices are listed below:
$10 for 1 badge
$25 for 3 badges
$50 for 7 badges
$100 for 15 badges
