CITY OF LAKE WALES – The Lake Wales Public Library plans to construct two multipurpose rooms and one teen resource room, ranging between 260 to 360 square feet.
“We’re maximizing space to give our library members and visitors more options,” Library Executive Director Belle Reynoso said.
Both multipurpose rooms may be used for study sessions and are scalable to accommodate training sessions and group meetings. The teen resource room will feature laptop-friendly workspaces and charging stations.
“Giving our teens a dedicated space to study and collaborate helps build social skills,” Reynoso said. The room will be monitored by library staff.
Reynoso anticipates the renovations to be completed this summer.
