In Loving Memory of Kathleen “Kathy” Lettman, 77, of Babson Park

Kathleen “Kathy” Lettman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Vitas Hospice IPU following a stroke. She was 77 years old.

Born on November 1, 1947, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, Kathy was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Mildred Carroll. In 1984, she made Babson Park her home, where she built a life filled with warmth, dedication, and faith.

Kathy worked as a devoted office manager for Dr. Braunstein for over 30 years. Her kindness and professionalism touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues, earning her deep respect and admiration. She was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where her faith and generosity were pillars of her life.

A gifted singer, Kathy found great joy in music and shared her voice with many. She was a past member of Sweet Adelines, a local performing singing group, and was active in her church choir, often performing at churches throughout the area. Her music brought comfort and happiness to those who listened.

She was also a member of the Babson Park Women’s Club, where she contributed to her community and forged lasting friendships.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dick Lettman; daughters, Melissa Abramo and husband John of Indian Harbour Beach, Teresa Jabbari and husband David of Merritt Island; son, Mark Lettman of Lake Wales; sister, Rosemary Thompson; brothers, Dick Carroll and Robert Carroll; and grandchildren, Jason Jabbari, Matthew Jabbari, Jack Jabbari, Thomas Lettman, and Anthony Lettman.

Kathy will be remembered for her unwavering compassion, strength, and love for those around her. Her presence brightened the lives of many, and her legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and community.

A funeral Mass will be scheduled at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
