Progress is being made towards the opening of a second Aldi store on Hwy. 60 in Lake Wales. The first and existing location in Lake Wales is at the intersection of Hwy. 27 and Thompson Nursery Rd.
In a communication received by Lake Wales Daily, an Aldi spokesperson offered this update on the matter:
“We are excited to share that we’re planning to open our second store in Lake Wales this summer (2025).
“We plan to hire 15-20 full and part-time associates to staff this new store. To monitor for job postings, please visit careers.aldi.us.”
The spokesperson did not advise when job openings would be posted. Aldi representatives did not respond to questions regarding the completed size of the store or a specific rendering of the location once completed.
The Hwy. 60 is being renovated from a former Winn-Dixie location, which closed late last year.
