Polk County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 3:16 to a residential structure fire located at 3431 David Street in Lake Wales, off of Old Bartow Rd.
Nathaniel Gale, public information officer for Polk County Fire Rescue, says that, “Upon arrival, crews noted it (the structure) was fully involved and worked quickly getting water on the fire.”
Firefighters were observed breaking windows and putting water on the fire from both inside and outside the structure.
Crews had it under control at 3:51 p.m.
No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
