Power Outage East of Lake Wales; Over 1,500 Without Electricity

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, at approximately 1:05 p.m, it was established that approximately 1,551 customers of Duke Energy are left without power.

According to Duke Energy‘s power outage map, the cause of the power outage is unknown at this time.

The outage area includes portions of Hwy. 60, Walk-In-Water Rd., and the area surrounding Lake Rosalie.

Duke Energy estimates that power is currently estimated to be restored by 5:15 p.m. this evening.
