In Loving Memory of Wayne Beasley, 84, of Frostproof

Wayne Beasley, 84

Wayne Beasley of Frostproof passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his residence.

He was born April 26, 1940 in Frostproof to the late Weston and Ruby Beasley; he has been a lifelong resident of Frostproof. Wayne first retired from Polk County as a building inspector, and then as a plans examiner for the City of Winter Haven.  He was also a former President of the Building Officials of Florida, (Peace River Chapter), and former Vice President of the Central Florida Chapter. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Frostproof, the Federation of Christian Sportsman, and was a former member of the Masons. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially turkey hunting.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Manley Beasley; and sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughters, Debby (Greg) Dawes of Orlando and Pam (Billy) Adams of Frostproof; grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) Dawes of Orlando, Katelyn (Alex) Acevedo of Orlando, Derek (Madison) Martin of Frostproof, and Justin (Jaelyn) Martin of Sparta, Tennessee; and great-grandchildren, Weston Martin, Peyton Acevedo, Ellis Martin, Kade Dawes, Waylon Martin, Piper Acevedo, Harper Dawes, and Hudson Martin.

Interment will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Silver Hill Cemetery.
