At an approximately 6:31 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at or near 1010 Scenic Hwy. N, Babson Park, in proximity of Crooked Bass Grill and Tavern, a traffic collision was reported.
Nathaniel Gale, Polk County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer, says that three individuals were transported from the scene, one trauma alert was transported by helicopter, a second trauma alert was transported by ground, and a third individual was also transported by ground.
