Marilyn Jane Adams, 81
Marilyn Jane Adams of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her residence.
She was born June 24, 1943 in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Lois Desroches; she moved to Lake Wales from Massachusetts 18 years ago. Marilyn was a cashier. She loved making flower arrangements, knitting, crocheting, and crosswords. Marilyn enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Desroches. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Adams, Jr.; son, Michael Adams (Sharyn); daughter, Susan Chartrand (Michael) and Nancy Struzziery (Keith) ; brother, Paul Desroches (Alice); grandchildren, Rachel Bennett, Kaeleigh Hawes, Holly Adams, Zachary Chartrand, Ryan Struzziery, and Richard Struzziery; and great-grandchildren, Molly Hawes and Anya Evans.
