Carmen Vazquez of Mulberry passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born November 29, 1932 in Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Sanchez and Isabella Arroyo. Carmen was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Vazquez. She is survived by her sons, Silfredo Vazquez, Saul Vazquez (Christine Peters), and Joseph Vazquez (Shelly); sisters, Maxima Sanchez, Angela Sanchez, Diadina Sanchez, Victoria Sanchez, and Cruzita Sanchez; brothers, Santos Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, and Carmelo Sanchez; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
