Approximately 4:11 PM this evening, Polk County Fire Rescue received a call regarding the traffic collision at Highway 27 S. and Alturas Babson Park Cut-Off Rd.
The on-call Polk County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer advises that one patient was transported.
The on-call Polk County Sheriff’s Office PIO advises that southbound lane was obstructed at the time of the crash. Lake Wales Daily could not confirm how many vehicles were involved, or whether the scene has been cleared. Please continue to drive with caution.
