At approximately 11:51 AM today, a call came in to Polk County Fire Rescue with regard to a traffic collision at 306 US Highway 60 in Lake Wales.
According to Troy Schultz, Deputy Chief with the Lake Wales Police Department, there was a single vehicle crash at the Dollar General. The vehicle was in the parking lot and the driver momentarily lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into the building causing damage to the building, the vehicle and a water line that goes to the building. There were no injures.
Dollar General is temporarily closed at this time.
