Lake Wales Community Open House August 22: NW Neighborhood Sidewalk Improvement And Streetscape Project

Date:

Citizens in the northwest neighborhood are scheduled to have access to new sidewalks with new landscape and street trees on select streets. Join the City of Lake Wales on August 22 at 6 p.m. at the B Street Community Center, located at 230 B St., to learn about the project. Citizens will get the chance to ask questions and hear from City staff and project consultants.

Construction plans include rehabilitating preexisting sidewalks. New sidewalks will be added along established streets without sidewalks. The improvements will help improve pedestrian safety. It’s action step number 11 in the City’s Lake Wales Connected Plan.
