On Friday, November 17, 2023, Lake Wales Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 gray Chevrolet Traverse driven by Tiya Sullen of Texas in the area of 11th Street and Highway 60 E. The vehicle came back stolen from Miami Shores on today’s date. Jade Matthews of Louisiana was a passenger in the vehicle.
Both Sullen and Matthews were arrested and charged with grand theft auto without incident.
