Sheriff Grady Judd and Lake Wales Police Chief Chris Velasquez will brief the media at 10:00 AM this morning, Monday, April 10, 2023, at the north end of Lindsey Place in Lake Wales – at the intersection with Tartan Loop – regarding a hostage situation that occurred during the early morning hours which is now resolved. There are two deceased adult males inside the home – the suspect and the victim, who is the suspect’s adult stepson.
