Lakeland, Florida – The Lakeland Police Department has confirmed a suspect is being sought for shooting two people Monday night. The shooting took place at Providence Reserve Loop which is where Providence Reserve Apartments is located. This is in the The shooting took place in the outdoor area of the complex.
According to Robin Tillet, Lakeland Police Public Information Officer, officers were dispatched “shortly after 5:35pm”. “Two adult victims were located (unknown gender and age at this time)” per Tillet. Both victims were in critical condition.
Suspect fled the scene and has not been located yet per Tillet. Officers secured the location and are still at scene securing evidence and interviewing possible witnesses
