Lake Wales City Commissioner Resigns LWCS Board Position, To Be Replaced By Andy Blair

Lake Wales, Florida – Lake Wales City Commissioner, Daniel Williams, recently resigned his recently appointed position with the Lake Wales Charter School (LWCS) Board. According to commission minutes Williams was appointed on May 17, 2022, by Mayor Jack Hilligoss. Williams accepted the appointment at the May 17, city commission meeting.

According to researching of meetings, Williams, only attended one board meeting on May 23, 2022. He missed the following 2-3 meetings.

We reached out to Commissioner Williams to get his comments on his LWCS resignation, but haven’t been able to communicate with him at this time.

Lake Wales Mayor, Jack Hilligoss, will appoint Andy Blair to fill the LWCS according to tonights Lake Wales City Commission agenda. Andy Blair is the director/founder of Refuge On The Ridge.
