Polk County Police Chiefs’ Charitable Foundation: Sporting Clays Fun Shoot April 11

Date:

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Polk County Police Chiefs’ Charitable Foundation will hold our annual sporting clays fundraising event. The venue for this year’s shoot will be at Tenoroc Sporting Clays, located at 3755 Tenoroc Mine Rd. Lakeland, FL.

The foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity and all proceeds from the event will be utilized to further the mission of providing partial college or academy scholarships to children of law enforcement officers in Polk County. In the last 12 years, the foundation, through the generous donations of many people, has been able to provide partial scholarships to 104 students totaling more than $251,000, helping them attend universities and community colleges in Florida. We would like to increase our ability to provide these scholarships to deserving students and your involvement in this event will help us to reach our goals.

The cost is $150 per person (teams are $600) and includes breakfast, shotgun shells, a catered lunch and 50 clay birds. Golf carts are available to rent at $100 per team; one per team. Various sponsorships are available, from $2,500 event sponsor to $250 major sponsor, that include a sign at a shooting station, recognition on a large banner and recognition during the awards ceremony. A $2,500 event sponsorship also includes two four-person teams.
